Being There

Health calamities have a way of occurring at night and on weekends. The automatic message is to visit a nearby ER which seems always busiest and least accommodating at night and on weekends, More than once over the last four months I have had urgent medical needs where, without recourse to Dr. Scanlon, I would have landed in the ER. Because Dr. Scanlon makes herself available at all times, I've been able to get the advice I need "outside regular business hours," which has made a great difference in how I have felt and my outlook more generally.
