There are times in everyone's life when a patient is frightened, bewildered, stressed or just plain miserable. Although Dr. H does not carry his wand in his pocket where it can be seen, he can dig up the right mixture to lighten a load when needed. His knowledge is unquestioned and he thrives on a new challenge (such as entry into the complicated field of DNA) when faced with one. You just can't question his humanity or his humor. He knows the best specialty referrals and shares them. He was wise enough to choose his office 'saints' who delight and soothe all the patients. I hope more decades in my future.
