I took him seriously

After my yearly checkup, I met with Dr. Maida in his office.
As usual, he was very thorough. When he got to a certain point, he became very serious,
as he explained that if I didn't do something about my sugar level, I was facing the real possibility of becoming diabetic.
That moment changed my life. I took immediate steps, that he suggested, and I have never looked back.
That was about 5 years ago.
