About a month ago, I texted my MDVIP doctor (Jeffrey Schmidlein, MD) in Severn’s Park, Maryland while I was on a trip to Hawaii to let him know I had left my Advair inhaler home. Since, as a military retiree, I am eligible to use military pharmacies, I texted him all the information about the Hickam Air Force Base pharmacy near Honolulu where I was staying. He sent a refill electronically, and I had my inhaler by early afternoon. Thank you Dr. Schmidlein , not only for that, but also all the other aspects of outstanding patient care.
