Oh my gosh, it is hard to know where to start! I find it actually enjoyable to go to Dr. Scott Mills. I rarely have to go except for my annual physical, but I did have to go just yesterday (2/6/2014) and this morning was wondering what i could do to thank him for the good care he showed me. Then I opened my email and this was here for Doctor's Day. I knew I had to write something.

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and it is generally controlled by taking Ibuprofen. But I was having a major flare up for the past few weeks and I knew I better get in to see Dr. Mills. First, he always puts me at ease by his easy going personality and he ALWAYS makes me laugh at something. He is very funny and as they say, laughter is the best medicine!.. But on a serious note, he LISTENS to me, he UNDERSTANDS what I am saying even when i can't exactly put into words what my pain is like, he affirms the fact that I am exhausted because people with chronic inflammation become very tired, he examines me thoroughly and then makes recommendations. Without going into great detail about what he ordered, suffice it to say when I left his office I was feeling much better psychologically just knowing that I was soon going to be feeling better physically. I was very impressed with what he thought to order for me.

This morning I am feeling 99 better already. I try to do yoga everyday, but because my sacroiliac joint had been so inflammed due to the Ankylosing Spondylitis I could really not get into the proper poses. I am attaching a picture that was taken just this morning proving how much better I feel. I could not do this yesterday!! Yipee.

I would also like to thank his nurse, Sally, because she is also a very good listener and an important part of Dr. Mills' team.
