The Power of Availability

I moved from Horseshoe Bay TX, to Austin into a retirement village about 3 years ago. At the urging of management, I decided to use the physicians who worked with the community and were part of a staffed clinic here. I have no criticism of the professionalism or quality of care offered by that group, but I quickly discerned that developing the sort of personal relationship I had with Dr Gosselink was next to impossible. He is always available by text or phone and his office is able to schedule needed medical procedures in Marble Falls or near there (Marble Falls is about a 45 minute drive from Austin) in much less time than in Austin. In addition, Dr Gosselink is the most thorough physician I have ever seen. No stone goes unturned, if you will. For an 83 year old that is critical. After a couple of years, I decided that those matters I have laid out above were important enough for me to return to Dr. Gosselink which I have done. I get the sort of service that I had in the past and the ability to resume a personal relationship with an outstanding physician. He is always available and never satisfied with half measures.
