Saved my life!

I have been a long-term patient of Dr. Joseph Sack in Wichita, KS. Don't know when I first started seeing him, but I was transferred to Frisco, TX with my civilian job for 6 years and after retiring in 2004 I moved back to Wichita and renewed my relationship with him. He has always been very helpful with all my health issues as I have matured, and I have always had faith in his great "bedside manner." I consider him as a friend in addition to being my go-to Physician. He actually had all the attributes of the MDVIP program before he adopted their philosophy and program. I've had many challenges that he has guided me through but the one that is most serious in my mind is when I discovered I had prostate cancer in 2010. Dr. Sack had been monitoring my PSA for years and all was well until September 2010. I actually was getting 2 PSA tests a year, one with Dr. Sack and another by the Hutchinson, KS hospital at the Kansas State Fair. In October 2010 Dr. Sack gave me a wellness test and the results were not available before I left for the winter in my RV. He called me in Florida and told me to see a Urologist for follow-up to the PSA test. Bingo, after a biopsy I was told I had prostate cancer and after a phone conversation with Dr. Sack I asked if I should come home for a 2nd opinion. He suggested I go ahead, and have it removed by Dr. Hitt with the Davinci Robotic process in January 2011 in Panama City, FL because there was no one doing Davinci in Wichita yet. The moment the Urologist told me I had cancer it was a wakeup call and the first time I ever realized I was truly mortal. Since then, I have been more concerned about my health and rely on Dr. Sack for guidance on all health issues. I feel blessed to have enjoyed the 81 plus years on this earth and look forward to many more with Dr. Sack's guidance.
