Scorpion Sting

We were enjoying out annual houseboat vacation on Lake Powell, Utah. My nephew was stung by a scorpion while we were enjoying a bonfire. None of us knew what to do or how serious it could be. We were moored in a canyon. I jumped into the ski boat and got out into the middle of the lake trying to find a cell signal. I called Dr. Kevin Turner on his cell and he told us everything to do and to watch for. Otherwise, we would have had to make a three-hour trip upriver to a clinic. His calming words and reassurance meant the world to me and my family. I appreciate the availability of my doctor whenever I need him. It's like having a doctor in my family.
