In the spring of 2013 I had open heart surgery for valve replacement. On each of the six day I was in intensive care, either Dr. Rose or Dr. Turner came to the hospital to check on my progress. They were the only medical people who I had known before. That daily visit from someone I knew was a great lift and something to look forward to. No charge was made for those visits since I was in the hand of specialists. They came because they cared about me as a patient!
