I have been seeing Dr Chooljian for approximately 30yrs! Over that time we have been through ALOT together! A slip & fall that resulted in multiple tears to ligaments in my knee & the resulting blood clot I developed within 6 weeks of that accident & had to be hospitalized for. I was scared to death I was going to die! When they took me to my room he was there waiting for me & the first thing he said was "You're not going to die!" He knew that's what I was thinking! He has always taken my concerns seriously,
no matter how silly they were. When I developed a condition that is causing me to have low sodium he checked me for everything that could be causing it & sent me to specialists to rule out many different possible causes. I had one of them tell me that he had already done everything she would have done AND made a point to tell me how thorough & clear his documentation was. I trust him completely! I know he works tirelessly for his patients to the point that he checks on them when he's on vacation! I know he always has my back. Lastly, on Dec. 27th, 2018 I had an Angiogram that showed multiple blockages in my heart. My family was told I needed to lose weight fast & change the way I eat or I was going to die! I called Dr Chooljian, from my hospital room, 3 times before I was released. I was so shocked & scared! The 2nd time I called him he had already spoken to the cardiologist & started to explain the results to me. During the 2nd or 3rd call he very obviously had my chart & went over my prior history with me. This was on a Thurs & I saw him in his office on that following Monday to discuss everything with me. Since that day I have lost almost 100lbs, my cholesterol has never been lower in the whole 30 yrs I have been his patient & my blood pressure is at an all time low. He has been there with me every step of the way, encouraging me, explaining what types of foods I should be eating or avoiding. Cheering me on. I wouldn't trade him for the world. I feel honored & incredibly lucky to have him as my physician. I don't know what I'll do when he retires some day!
