My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Marcus Welby, M.D. was a devoted family physician who took care of all his patients’ needs and even made home visits. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician I can be that kind of doctor; providing personalized healthcare for you and your family. Being in the best of health takes work, from both of us, and I will partner with you to help reach your personal goals and stay healthy. You have enough things to think about each day; worrying about your quality of healthcare shouldn’t be one of them.

I have been a physician for over 30 years, first in Chicago, and now Oak Ridge where I see patients from the city and surrounding areas. My favorite part of being a doctor is taking care of generations of families and guiding them through life’s healthcare challenges and miracles. From diabetes and nutrition, to women’s health and well-baby visits; it’s about being your doctor for life. I do my best to keep you and your family out of the hospital, but if you do need to be hospitalized I am affiliated with Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Taking care of you is my top priority and by taking the time to focus on prevention and wellness you’ll get more out of your visits and more out of life.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Fabricius

from Janelle in TN March 30, 2020 for Diane Fabricius, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Fabricius is the best! She is totally focused on wellness, and when any of my test results fall out of normal, she thoroughly explains to me what "out of normal" means and follows up with suggestions as to how I can, with life style changes, improve. I really appreciate that as I am reluctant to take drugs unless absolutely necessary. When I do have an issue, she is available… See more

As one who has spent many long telephone minutes being put on "hold", only to finally be told that I can be seen by my (former) doctor in two weeks--I heartily send out a "Hooray!" to Doctor Fabricious for BEING here at the ready! Her cheerful greeting and medical knowledge can quickly dispel my feelings of anxiety,
frustration and perhaps a twinge of fear. She is… See more

I value Dr. Fabricius! She is kind, caring and smart. She takes time to listen and that means a lot to patients. I don't know what I would do if she wasn't my physician. I have lived with a physician for 53 years so I have been around the medical world and understand more about that life perhaps than other patients. It is not easy and requires a certain personality to be a really… See more

After my long-time doctor retired, I moved to the practice of Dr. Diane Fabricius. I no longer have to wait to be seen if I have any medical problem. I can communicate with her and her staff via e-mail or phone. I have been given adequate medical testing to ascertain any abnormalities I may have. She, as do I, believes in preventive medical care. She is willing and comfortable in spending… See more

Dr. Fabricius is the best doctor I have ever had. Since I am almost 78 years old, I have had a lot of doctors! She always takes the time to listen. She treats me like a person rather than just a patient. She is so understanding and has amazing diagnostic skills. I have celiac disease and she understands what medication I can tolerate and what I cannot. I trust her with my health because I know… See more
