My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Since I began practicing medicine, I have always aspired to be the kind of doctor that I would want to go to myself. My approach to patient care is taking the time  to listen to my patients’ concerns and to getting to know each of them as an individual. I do my best to provide my patients with personalized care. This has allowed me to develop the close bonds I currently share with  my patients, which are centered on trust, respect and open communication.

My goal as an internal medicine physician is to take a more proactive approach with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. In my MDVIP‐affiliated practice, you will be treated as if you are a member of my family in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I hope you will benefit from the full extent of my education, expertise, compassion and understanding. During our time together, we will cultivate a wellness plan that is tailored to your healthcare needs and goals. And you can benefit from the conveniences of same‐ or next‐day appointments for urgent concerns and the ability to contact me during and after hours.

I have strong relationships with specialists at Johns Hopkins, Greater Baltimore Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Medical Center and can consult with them as needed. My primary care practice is conveniently located in Lutherville, Maryland. I serve patients from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and the surrounding counties. My location at Greenspring Station allows convenient access to pharmacy, radiology and subspecialty services.

I started coming to Dr. Pressman during one of the most heartbreaking times of my life. My husband of 34 years left me for a friend of mine. She did not really know me that well but she listened to my story and never judged. She was compassionate and kind. She encouraged me to do something for me that would make me feel good about myself. I got Barre and Pilates certified and taught at a… See more

After having COVID a few times, in the Spring of 2022, I started developing a lot of concerning symptoms. I developed severe anxiety out of nowhere, began experiencing panic attacks, chest tightness, heart palpitations, feeling dizzy, etc. I knew something was off. I had so many tests done and everything came back clear. I felt absolutely crazy. I began feeling paranoid and like I couldn'… See more

from Mary in MD January 18, 2024 for Diane Pressman, MD

Dr Pressman saw me toward the end of a two week illness - a bad cold that never went away. I was plagued by sleeplessness, mild nausea, a bad cough, and extreme worry because I also live with an autoimmune vasculitis whose flare symptoms share those of a cold gone bad. I was a wreck by the time I sat in Dr Pressman's office to discuss how I felt - uncharacteristically in tears. And she… See more
