Grateful for Dr. Koh and his staff for being available and receptive to my questions and supporting me on more than one occasion when I was away on travel. Prescriptions for medication while I was out of town for managing Covid, another time I was able to get a prescription on short notice for antibiotics before leaving for a trip outside the country. But right from the start Dr Koh was an ally by giving me great advice on diet and exercise to prevent the need for medication for cholesterol. I have never had to wait, feel rushed or uneasy asking questions at Dr. Koh’s practice in Leesburg, Va. My goal is to focus on best health prevention of disease and ailments and seek best treatment actions for those times when needed. I have an optimal team supporting me in that goal and I am gratefull!

In the summer of 2021, I finally got my wife Nancy to call our MDVIP doctor, Dr. Han-Jong (John) Koh for an evaluation of abdominal pain that she had experienced and not for too many weeks not acted upon. He immediately made room for her in his busy schedule and after seeing her arranged a same same-day scan, the results of which could have take days to obtain. Instead he followed up and obtained the results within hours. He call Nancy as we were attending her hair appointment in Washington D.C. that very day. He told her that he suspected she had cancer and told her to immediately report the local Loudoun hospital ER for further assessment. He called ahead and lined-up (greased the skids) with admittance, a surgeon and an oncologist. She did so and we embarked on a Stage III Ovarian cancer journey now in it's 31st month and still working with Dr. Mike Bevers of MD Anderson Hospital in Houston and Dr Ajay Dar of Virginia Cancer Specialists in Loudoun Virginia, That follow-thru by Dr Koh has earned him our respect and appreciation ... and a key reason we remain with MDVIP, when we have other options and need pay nothing with Military Tricare for Life.
