Meet Malak K. Isaac, MD

Being a family medicine physician trusted with the care of my patients is a privilege and honor. I am proud to serve the residents of Centreville, Virginia, and the surrounding communities, including Northern Virginia and D.C. I like to treat my patients like family or friends, providing them with the time, dedication and commitment I would give those closest to me.

I aim to put your health interests first, prioritizing well-being and offering more personal support and care. I believe in a more patient-centric and holistic approach rather than a symptom-centric outlook. You are far more than a specific injury or chronic condition; You are a complex individual with unique health, lifestyle and emotional wellness considerations. I believe these factors can be weighed as part of diagnosis and treatment to better assess acute and chronic illness.

Having worked closely with surgeons, specialists and other physicians, I believe that lasting results can stem from a combination of methods. I aim to listen carefully to each patient and keep an open mind in evaluating ideas and treatments. I am committed to employing newer technologies and adapting to an innovative medical landscape. I believe it is my obligation as a physician to keep up to date with advanced studies and methods.

Furthermore, I emphasize patient education. I believe when patients better understand their condition and treatment options, they can be more ready to help control their own health. I consider my principal role as providing you with information about your condition or diagnosis, including outlining treatment options, so you can make more informed and educated decisions. I believe that when daily comfort, functionality and quality of life are at stake, a more personalized approach to primary care can help improve a patient’s options and outcomes.

My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that go far beyond those found in concierge medical practices. I also offer same- or next-day appointments with minimal wait time. I see fewer patients, which gives me more time to better address your needs today and help you plan for a healthier tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.

Testimonials from patients of Malak K. Isaac, MD

Patient, Persistent, and Caring

from Joan in VA • February 23, 2024
Dr. Isaac is a triple-threat physician. When you have recurring symptoms that are difficult to diagnose, it’s difficult to keep coming back to your Doctor repeating those same signs that are so bothersome to your day-to-day life. With Dr. Isaac, it’s easy because first he is caring. He welcomes you with kind words and a smile that makes it easy for you to be open and forthright with your Read more...

Seamless Transition

from Renee in VA • February 13, 2024
When my doctor retired Dr Isaac took over the practice and my care has remained excellent. I am a complicated patient in that I’ve survived botulism poisoning. He has referred me to all the specialists that I have needed. He is responsive to phone calls even after hours. He remodeled the entire office and it’s amazing, beautiful and practical.

Actual Attention

from John in VA • February 12, 2024
My traditional annual physical consisted of the usual poking and prodding, accompanied by about a 5 minute visit with the Doctor. She was good, but over-worked and exhausted most of the time.
I went to an MDVIP Doctor for 2 flight physicals, and each time came away with more information about myself than I ever got from my Primary. When my Primary decided to go concierge, I made the Read more...

Dependable and Caring

from Dr Robert in VA • February 12, 2024
Dr Isaac has always been there for my wife and me in very timely and dependable ways. For example my wife came down with Covid and needed medication quickly. Within a short time Dr Isaac determined the best medicine for her based on other medicines she was taking, found a local pharmacy that carried that medicine, called that pharmacy and we picked it up shortly thereafter. Only took about Read more...

Save my life

from Katie in VA • February 11, 2024
Back in 2002, I was diagnosed and treated for MS. Over the next few years, I was getting worse I was advised to see Dr Levinstone. After only a few visits and lots of blood work, he advised that I was having strokes not MS episodes. My meds were changed and even though I am disabled, I stopped the episodes of strokes. He became part of MDVIP. He retired in the beginning of 2023. Dr Isaac took Read more...
