Testimonials from patients of Dr. Dunlevie
I . Dr. dunlevie is hands down the best, most thorough doctor that we have ever seen. I feel like we have been examined from head to toe! It’s a great feeling to know as we age, my husband and I will be with the very best doctor!
Shep is what you would want in a doctor
He is smart, stays current, and cares
He is always thinking forward on how to help you live a better healthier life and has an outstanding bedside manner
Not only do I think that you’re a brilliant diagnostician, you’re a wonderfully caring person. Cannot imagine any other doctor being better, Words cannot express how fortunate I feel to be “under your wing”. Am a lucky lady on that score!
Thank you,
Caryl (Carolyn) Black
My Doctor is Steven Sheppard Dunlevie, MDVIP Atlanta GA. At a routine visit a few years ago, I told him that I had sharp chest pain after cutting the grass the previous day. He scheduled me for a heart scan the next morning, immediately after which I had a stent installed in a major artery by a cardiologist and have been doing well ever since. That’s what to me makes Dr. Dunlevie SUPER; I am… See more
I was extremely weak and had lost 20 pounds on my 4’10” frame. I had experienced two Emergency Room visits plus a full week admitted to another hospital in Atlanta area. My Internist of 10 years sent me home and said my problem was psychological.
A close family friend recommended we visit Dr Shep Dunlevie. On arrival I was so dehydrated he could barely get labs.

Although we have many reasons to appreciate Dr Dunlevie, one stands out at this moment. Recently our daughter, Kelly, also a patient of Dr. Dunlevie, was seen by a dermotologist for a growth on the bridge of her nose, and was advised that it was nothing that needed to be addressed. Dr. Dunlevie examined the site and felt that it needed to be further evaluated, referring Kelly to a Moh's… See more
Shep has been our doctor for 25 years and a family friend before that.. We are fellow athletes, though I at a MUCH slower pace. He calculates my athleticism and good nutrition habits into what he prescribes for me. He definitely practices preventive care, and that I most appreciate.
He carries a wonderful Spirit about him. I look forward to seeing him. I always feel uplifted… See more
My husband and I were patients before he became an MDVIP practitioner and told him if he ever moved over we wanted to come, and we did. We have always been pleased with both his medical care and his caring personality.
A few years ago during routine bloodwork, Dr. Dunlevie noticed my thyroid numbers were going up, never out of range, but they should have settled down and had not.
After a bit more looking, he reasoned that I was experiencing hyperparathyroidism. He referred me to a surgeon who said my numbers weren't necessarily high enough to indicate this to him. But he agreed with Dr Dunlevie… See more
