Doctor Luciano was there for me when I contracted Covid on Christmas Day, 2021. I became very ill for 2 weeks & then started dealing with asthma - as a result of the Covid. I didn’t think I could get any more ill, but I did. The doc had already had me get blood work done, which showed my Potassium level very low and my sodium level dangerously low. My doc had been continuously following me through all this and was so concerned at my blood work results, he started calling me along with his staff to locate me. He was very upset & wouldn’t give up until I called him back (I had gone out to get groceries & barely made it home). My doc advised me I could go into seizures & possibly a coma. Should I go into the hospital, they could probably regulate me in a few days. This was the height of Covid and I declined. Subsequently, knowing I would stay at home because I was too weak to do anything else, he treated me and checked in with me constantly. I had blood work done every few weeks, which he monitored. It took a number of weeks for me to normalize and I don’t want to go through anything like that again. I truly believe if it weren’t for Dr. Luciano’s caring, concern and true diligence, the outcome would have been very different. I have to honestly say I am so very fortunate to have an Internist that cares so much. I am blessed knowing that. I have told him many times he can never, ever retire! I have to also mention my Doc calls me on my Birthday every single year. How kind is that? It means so much to me that he and his wife do this for me. Many other doctors should think about doing such a little kindness - it goes a very long way.
