My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as your doctor in my MDVIP-affiliated practice is to have more time to personalize a healthcare plan specifically for you! Together we will use diagnostic tests, advanced wellness screenings and patient-specific goals to help get you on the road to healthy living and disease prevention. As a board-certified cardiologist, I am uniquely qualified to help you achieve your goals and better provide you with the tools to live a healthier, more active lifestyle that focuses on disease prevention.

I will continue to see patients in my two locations: located in Clifton and Ridgewood. I remain on staff as an attending cardiologist at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. I speak medical Spanish and we have staff members fluent in Spanish and Polish. I have a special interest in non-invasive cardiology to screen for disease and confront problems early. I run a ketogenic diet program in the office called Ideal Protein to focus on physician-guided weight loss. In addition to focusing on your primary care needs through the MDVIP Annual Wellness Program, I have the equipment to offer you echocardiography, stress testing and vascular testing.

Those who join the practice can expect to spend time with me creating a personalized healthcare plan that is tailored to your goals and needs. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same or next day appointments that start on time. The concept is to be able to see your doctor when you are sick or reach them when you have medical questions. I enjoy the personalized doctor-patient relationship where I know more about my patients, and we can communicate freely with each other to provide you with proper care. I will also be able to help manage your care if you are hospitalized.

It is time to take charge of your health. Join me and take that next step towards a healthier lifestyle.

When I came to my first visit to Dr. Sullivan two years ago I was in pretty bad shape. My general health was poor after my move to NJ. Thanks to his good listening skills and recommendations I am now doing much better. I am very pleased with my outcomes.

from Bill in NJ March 10, 2024 for Brendan Sullivan, MD, FACC

In the late spring/early summer I experience a couple of instances of syncope. T first I was in denial (not too uncommon I suspect) and tried to find a way to explain the fainting events. I had just become a patient of Dr. Brendan Sullivan. From the start Dr. Sullivan came across as professional and quite caring. His demeanor caused me to reject my denials and I informed him of my problem. His… See more

It's not just one moment I've had with Doctor Sullivan, it's every time I visit him. He is always attentive to any issue I need to discuss. Additionally, in his responses, it is always very clear that he has an excellent knowledge of the issues I face. Based on this, he has always given me good direction on what I have to do along with prescribing any medication(if needed)… See more
