My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

As our health system continues to evolve, patients confront diverse options when deciding upon their medical care. I believe the ability to provide personalized care with attention to prevention and an established wellness program offers a responsible choice. The opportunity to comprehensively discuss with my patients their current medical issues and jointly develop a treatment plan is essential to our relationship. I am convinced that by actively participating in their health decisions, our patients experience improved outcomes. In order to encourage my patients to attain their health goals it is essential to offer the most relevant diagnostic studies and preventive services to detect modifiable medical problems. I am cognizant of the special importance both senior patients and their families place on preserving functional independence. We maintain senior’s autonomy by responding promptly to acute changes, regularly evaluating chronic conditions, and effectively coordinating care with other professionals. I look forward to assisting our patients achieve their optimal health status.

from John March 30, 2017 for James J. Bernick, MD

Dr. Bernick has been our physician for a long time before MDVIP. He treated my wife before I became his patient. She actually died before seeing him after the MDVIP program (June-2014). She would have loved this additional service. Being an MDVIP has allowed him to spend more time with his patients. Just being able to see him the same day when you need is well worth the price. Some of the… See more
