My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My passion as your family doctor is to partner with you to provide personalized, evidence-based, preventive healthcare and timely treatment when illness occurs. While I stand ready to deliver exceptional care in the event of illness, my ultimate desire is to advise and assist you in preventing common conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes and avoidable cancers. I am board-certified in family medicine and practice the full scope of my training, including pediatric care from newborn through adolescent medicine, women’s health excluding obstetrics, sports medicine, obesity/weight management and adult care including geriatrics. As your personal doctor, we will work as a team to formulate your unique wellness plan.

Having taught in a family medicine residency in the Air Force, I am an educator at heart. My MDVIP-affiliated practice will allow me to dedicate the time to identify your health priorities and facilitate your understanding of the steps necessary to achieve them. I will have the time, tools and tests, not currently available under standard insurance protocols, that will allow us to focus more fully on your health care goals. I am committed and dedicated to working with you to help you become healthier as you focus on living a long, productive and fulfilling life.

from Hamilton in FL March 21, 2023 for Kit D. Kuss, MD, FAAFP

Dr Kuss is the first and only doctor I have seen voluntarily. I grew up as a marine corps dependent, we had no family doctor, no continuity of care. I was drafted during Viet Nam and joined the Air Force. In the Air Force, the flight surgeon was an excellent way to be placed on DNIF (duties not including flying). Have seen far to many good pilots fall to the conservative doctors. At 65 I aged… See more
