About Belen M. Herrero-Mujic, MD
I consider it an honor to be chosen as a patient’s primary care physician, and my goal as a doctor has always been to offer more individualized care.
I am thrilled to be an MDVIP-affiliated physician, as the model allows me more time to develop closer relationships with my patients and provide the personalized care I feel all patients deserve and need. I want to partner with you and work together to develop a personalized plan that supports you in addressing any current health problems and helps as you work to prevent new ones. I am here to guide, educate and help you pursue achieving your health goals.
I have served as a primary care physician for nearly 25 years, caring for patients in the greater Tampa Bay, FL area, including Tampa Palms, North Tampa, South Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Zephyrhills, Dade City, Trinity and Westchase, Florida.
I have relationships with many specialists in the community to help with your unique needs, should a referral be needed. In addition to aspects of internal medicine, I focus on preventive medicine, hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as women's health.
I am also fluent in Spanish.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments, and my practice aims to promote an on-time policy that we hope is beneficial in your busy life.

Well deserved as a top doctor for 2023!! Congratulations!!! Dr. Herrero has been my doctor forever it seems like (probably 20 yrs). Each and every time I have a problem, she addresses every problem with the utmost care like I am party of her family. Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
