About Jill C. Manahan, DO, DABFP

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine specializing in internal medicine, I am deeply committed to a holistic approach that cares for the whole person – mind, body and spirit. My goal is support and encourage my patients as they work to foster lasting wellness. My passion lies in helping patients feel empowered to take an active role in their health journey, whether through developing personalized nutrition plans, supporting them as they manage hypertension, or discussing women’s and men’s health concerns in a supportive environment.

As one of the dedicated female primary care physicians in Southwest Ohio offering personalized healthcare, I strive to build strong, trusting relationships that go beyond routine visits. I have more time to listen to each patient’s unique needs and goals. With over 20 years of experience, my primary care practice focuses on internal medicine, and I have special interests in women’s health, nutrition, integrative health and alternative therapies. I am experienced with and offer hormone replacement therapy, as clinically appropriate.

In my own life, I walk the talk by staying active as a lifelong sports enthusiast and huge soccer fan (and former player and coach); enjoying golf, boating and wake surfing; experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes; reading widely; traveling to new places; catching live music and concerts; and prioritizing balanced eating, quality sleep, and cherished time with family and close friends. I’m also currently taking adult Spanish classes.

Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, I provide comprehensive care to adolescents, adults and seniors. Serving patients throughout the Northern Cincinnati area – including Mason – and surrounding Southwest Ohio communities, I can refer to specialists if the need arises. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I also offer conveniences, such as same- and next-day appointments and contacting me after hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
