About Nami Khulusi, MD
Regardless of the time and place, my career as a medical doctor will remain a noble one. Being a good doctor means having high moral values, good training and a strong knowledge. It’s an art and a gift from God. There is no honor like the honor of treating and healing human beings. Treating their bodies and touching their souls. The bond between a doctor and a patient is such a unique and strong one. It’s a warm bond that starts with a hand shake and look in the eye and it ends with a strong relationship that crosses all of the bridges and differences between human beings. With MDVIP, my practice will be smaller which allows me to give more time and attention to my patients and be available to them to help them live healthier lives by early detection of illness and personalized wellness plans.

I have been going to Dr. Khulusi for decades, long before MDVIP. He focuses on longterm health prevention, as well as cures. As I got older, I experienced balancing issues that were age related to knees and hearing issues. Dr. Khulusi suggested balance therapy, in which I learned how to do pull-ups; and that led to stand ups. I started doing them at home since all it takes is a chair or a couch. This was 6 years ago. I’ve been doing them ever since. My core strength has increased, my weight has decreased and some general health issues cleared up or improved. The best thing is being able to get up quickly and easily move around. In an older person, it’s like a sense of freedom that had slowly vanished with age.
The office is clean and modern. The office staff is professional and friendly.
Dr. Khulusi is very knowledgeable and has keen insight. He is pleasant, warm and courteous.

Dr. Khulusi never reached out to us simply to check in. My wife and I have a number of specialists who send reports to our PCP Dr. Khulusi. Never once did he call about any of those reports. My wife spent time in the hospital for a condition of Sepsis. Never did he check in on her to see how she was. We will no longer be members of MDVIP paying $5,000 annually for nothing.

While interaction with dr khulusi is top rate, the telephone response time to voice messages is unacceptable to say the least, as is the difficulty in having prescriptions refilled from the office. I frequently just drive to the office re rx refills. Office support staff doesn't support well at all!!!!!!!
In person office staff is wonderful. Perhaps they just need additional staff to better serve the patients.

Dr Nami Khulusi and staff are the most in-depth, thorough internal med practice I have experienced. He is so compassionate and takes time with each and every patient. Marci far exceeds expectations when she strives to help you at all times, including weekends and nights. I am so happy to be part of this practice and i would recommend them to all family and friends.

Time I had a problem the past they give me an appointment right away. The doctor is very educated on my condition and is interested in my health and well-being. My husband and myself are both patients of Dr Khulisi. He is the best doctor we have ever seen because he is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and spends enough time with each of us to truly find the problem and work on solving it. He is thorough , intelligent and truly cares about each of his patients. I feel comfortable with him and he constantly checks in on my progress and my husband’s as well. The cost of MDVIP is well worth it with Dr Khulisi as your doctor . We absolutely adore him and recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Khulusi is warm, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He calls back within five minutes of an after hours call to him and he follows up on recommendations and my care. Dr. Nami Khulusi has been my physician for more than twenty years. He is one of a kind. He treats each patient as though that patient's well-being is not only all-important to the patient, but all-important to Dr. Khulusi himself. He spends whatever time it takes in order to make sure that the patient's specific complaints are addressed, and then he goes further, by ascertaining how the patient's overall health is being impacted or may be impacted, so that he may protect the patient against that, as well. He treats the patient as a person, a whole person, and makes sure that all diagnoses and treatment are both discussed and explained. Despite his devotion to each patient (or, perhaps, because of it) he is highly accessible and available. In addition, his knowledge of medicine and his diagnostic ability are second to none. I believe that my life and that of my wife are better because Dr. Khulusi is our doctor.

Dr. Khulusi is by far the best physician I have been treated by in my life. Caring, compassionate, excellent diagnostic abilities and always willing to give you time! Can’t say enough good things. Yes, he’s a member of MDVIP but that is the means to allow him a small patient practice that gives you the time you need to know and adequately treat your patients. If you consider how much time and good health can be wasted by using doctors that give you only a few moments of time (due to terribly low payments from insurance) than this is a bargain. If you need a Dr to manage your health this is the man and the program.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
