I believe patients deserve a doctor who has more time to get to know them. My goal as your personal physician is to provide individualized care that begins with listening to your concerns. Once I hear your health-related questions, I can offer care options that can help address your needs. As a primary care physician and athlete, I am committed to helping my patients as they pursue optimal health, and I enjoy assisting them as they work to reach their personal health goals.
With more than two decades of practicing in Hudson Valley, NY, I have built relationships with specialists who can help as needed. As a family physician, I am eager to help you and your loved ones navigate the ever-changing health care landscape. These may be face-to-face in my Kingston office, or if you prefer, as telehealth, when appropriate. My practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. The results can help identify health risk factors that we can address together. I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting.
Our practice is easy to reach, just minutes from the New York State thruway and the Kingston-Rhinecliff bridge. As a Nuvance Health physician, I am also affiliated with a network of over 1,000 clinicians across seven hospitals, including Northern Dutchess and Vassar Brothers Medical Center. You get more compassionate services from the vet when compared to costly
A doctor who accepts Medicare and charges an annual fee (often called concierge medicine) cannot charge the fee for services that Medicare already covers. Doing so can be considered illegal double billing.
The annual fee must be exclusively for non-covered services or amenities, such as extended appointments, comprehensive wellness planning, 24/7 direct access, or services not on the Medicare fee schedule.
Since the doctor accepts Medicare, they must still follow Medicare's rules for covered services, which generally limits the patient's cost to the deductible and 20% coinsurance if they accept assignment.
Medicaid rules are generally even stricter regarding additional charges, making such a fee highly questionable and likely disallowed for Medicaid-covered services.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
