About Tracey Lindeman, MD

My passion within internal medicine involves caring for my patients long-term and helping them as they pursue reaching their individualized health goals. I strongly believe in preventive medicine, which I find can support patients in making lifestyle changes today that may help prevent disease in the future.

I work with my patients one-on-one to help ensure they can understand their overall health picture on a personalized level. Then, we can work together towards planning meaningful improvements over the course of months to years.

I have practiced in several different primary care models, and I feel the MDVIP practice model allows me more time to provide care to patients when they need me most - during illness and in wellness. My MDVIP- affiliated practice, often compared to a concierge medicine practice, offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting. In addition, I can assist with making referrals to specialists in Webster and Clear Lake, TX and surrounding areas of our community.

Dr. Tracy Lindemann is an awesome internist. I give her 10 stars. Unfortunately, she is leaving Methodist and I was unhappy when I found out. I came to Methodist due to my former physician leaving from the system where I was. In a nutshell it is difficult to retain internist not only in the Nassau Bay area, but in the greater Houston metroplex. That is not a Dr. Tracy Lindemann problem and she should not be penalized on her ratings because of that. This is an issue that medical centers and medical schools need to address and soon because of the increasing population in this area.
As far as Lindemann is concerned you will not find a better internist. I have other physicians at Methodist and I plan to stay.
While it it is difficult to switch doctors I have had many switches since I moved back into this area. At one of the UT facilities I cannot even count how many internists I have had on one hand since 2000. I made the switch to Methodist in 2018 or so at another office. That internist left and I researched until I found Lindemann and moved over. I am happy that I had the opportunity of having her as my physician.

I love Dr Lindeman! I give her 5 stars! But she's leaving Methodist. And so have my last 2 other Dr's. Methodist is having a hard time retaining good Dr's in my opinion. I'm getting real tired of researching Dr's, getting established with them and then they leave. I think its time to move to a different system that can retain physicians. One star for Methodist.

Dr. Tracey Lindeman is a "hands-on" physician. Maybe you too understand when I ask, How long has it been since doctors literally stopped "touching" us when we become geriatric? Last week I had a list of seven things I need medical help with, and Dr. Lindeman not only made the various referrals I need to other medical providers (for physical therapy, x-ray imaging, ultra-sound testing. mammography, podiatry), she also examined my bare feet (I'm diabetic), listened to my heart and lungs (I have A-fib) and examined a patch of itchy skin on my back. She made sure she considered my other medications before prescribing a new med to help my developing sciatica. Most importantly, she shared her opinion about my ongoing issues and made a treatment plan for me that I could understand. Normally, I wouldn't share this much information about my health issues with people I don't know, but I want other potential patients to understand that Dr. Lindeman is both laser-sharp and a very caring physician whom I hope to have the pleasure of consulting for the rest of my life.

Dr. Lindeman is a very caring doctor. She always asks me about how I’m doing, how I’m feeling, and how my personal life is going. I feel so fortunate that I have found her to be my primary physician. I’ve been going to Dr. Lindeman for approximately 10 years, and I’m so glad I found her.

Dr. Tracey Lindeman listens and is caring. She promptly recognized that my issue required a pulmonologist. Thanks to her and the pulmonologist, I was finally diagnosed with something that should have been diagnosed when I was a child. I highly recommend her.

I called letting them know I was going to be a few minutes late from my scheduled time because I had forgotten my wallet. They told me I had only 15 minutes. I arrived exactly at the 15 minutes. They said I had to reschedule they did not consider the effort I made in calling, letting them know I was coming, and I walked in right on the dot. Front office staff is rude. As a patient you can wait more than half an hour. They couldn't wait for me a minute passed 15...

Dr. Lindeman has great bedside manner and is very pleasant. She takes time to discuss, ask and answer questions, explain the medical science behind decisions, etc. She is confident and knowledgeable. She encourages patient involvement in his/her own healthcare, and genuinely listens and considers patient input. I would highly recommended her, and indeed, I have recommended her to others.

I have gone to see Dr. Lindemann twice since switching from another doctor ( retired) in the Methodist system. Prior to the first doctor I had been a patient in another system and when I needed to see a doctor they were not able to deliver. I looked online found that Methodist was not that far and made an appointment. Prior to seeing Dr. Lindemann I compared several doctors. Dr. Lindemann went to medical school and did her training in top notch facilities. I have also been treated with the utmost respect in this office as well as the prior office. In comparison to the system where I came from I really do not think I could say that about the front office staff nor all of the other persons that take care of the patient's needs. I am here to stay. I have no plans of leaving. Dr. Lindemann is honest and easy to speak with. She is patient and caring. What more can a person ask for?

The girls working for this office are so rude. I'm very disappointed. I really hope they don't treat their patients the way I was talked to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
