Meet Peter G. Gosselink, MD

I have been a family practice physician in Marble Falls, Texas, for over 20 years. I have been practicing in the MDVIP model over 10 years and appreciate the fundamental benefits of practicing in this way. In my opinion, two elements that can hinder good medical care are lack of time with the patient and lack of reachability to the doctor. I believe, most importantly, that improved patient care requires more time with patients during visits.

Additionally, I find that the ability to reach your provider during and after hours can be beneficial not only to the patient’s health, but also for the relationship between the provider and the patient. Through both, the doctor-patient relationship can grow stronger, care can be more personalized, attention during urgent situations can be more seamless. I am grateful I have more time and focused energy aimed at helping you as you work to improve your health and quality of life.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. Great Doc....saved me from a heart attack by referring me quickely to a cardiologist...I received a 7-bypass surgery due to blockec arteries that I did not know about. Dr. Gosslink picked up on my very slight symptoms and was proactive. He's thorough and gets right to the point with his recommendations. Will see me immediately when I call.
