My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I believe in treating my patients with the quality care and compassion they deserve.
After practicing general internal medicine for 24 years, my beliefs, my ethics and my reasons for choosing medicine as a profession remain constant. I am able to take sufficient time to develop and maintain the personal and professional relationships which are critical to providing quality care. I enjoy being able to spend time listening to, studying and discussing each patient's unique issues in order to provide proactive care and assess the multitude of medical issues in a thorough and prompt manner. I find great satisfaction and reward in helping guide my patients through the increasingly impersonal and worrisome world of healthcare. I look forward to coming to work each day to do what I love - spending time with my patients and providing them with the personalized care and compassion they deserve.

I have many stories about my experience with Dr. Christopher Ley, but there is one that stands out. In 2017 I was hospitalized for an unspecified " heart event" on a holiday weekend. after going in to a local hospital ER for a slight breathing problem. After admission I phoned Dr. Ley on his cell phone at night simply to let him know what had transpired. By early the next morning he… See more

i have been a long time patient of Dr. Ley, even before he became a concierge doctor. i have always had the highest regard for Dr. Ley's expertise and his
conservative approach to treatment thereby protecting his patients from
unnecessary procedures or excess drugs.
DR.Ley was my late husband's doctor for many years of challenging physical

There are several to tell, but here's just one: I had to drive husband to hospital in the middle of the night; I phoned Dr. Ley at 3 a.m. reporting on situation. By 5 a.m. I phoned again to say we were leaving for the hospital picture icy/snowy RI roads. The ER staff was excellent, testing husband, administering meds. We were all surprised/amazed when Dr. Ley APPEARED it was still dark… See more

A few months ago I experienced some unexpected cardiac problems which resulted in eventual quintuple bypass surgery. Dr. Ley stepped in and coordinated the entire process which included getting me transferred to the appropriate hospital, arranging for the best cardiologist and the best surgeons to handle my case, and monitoring my aftercare and rehabilitation. His involvement was very much… See more

We're so grateful to Dr. Ley and his staff for caring for us. We can arrange appointments speedily and discuss whatever concerns us in a friendly and confidential manner. And there's usually a simple treatment or a helpful referral. The office is quite comfortable and attractive, and parking is a breeze.

I am not the easiest of patients, I usually follow all of Dr, Ley's advice...but not always. I can be forgetful as well as stubborn. He does not accept that, but does so with courtesy. I have never had more confidence in my Doctor's advice.
