I have always considered my ability to interact with people my most valuable asset as a primary care physician. The doctor-patient relationship is totally unique, requiring a level of trust and understanding that takes time and effort to develop. A good internist will get to know patients on a much deeper level than will a specialist. There is an ongoing partnership, which allows us to better diagnose and treat those who trust us with their care. A good doctor will not only figure out what might be the root of problems, but also should be able to help you understand aspects of the treatment plan. I have been told by countless patients that they feel like friends or family, which I consider I great compliment!

Medicine has changed quite a bit in recent years, and much of the art of medicine has been lost. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. We focus on lifestyle, disease prevention, diet and exercise, screenings, and overall health maintenance. I also practice what I preach when it comes to healthy living. My advice to you will always be the same as it would be for myself or for my own family. 

There is a palpable difference between custom medical care and “big-box” medicine. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments. I spend more time with my patients, being more available for sick visits and responding to your concerns in a timely manner.
