On thanksgiving a couple years ago I went to the ER with a high fever. It was during COVID so I was there alone and was feeling pretty miserable. While I was there he called me on cell to see how I was doing. The doc in the ER could not figure out what was wrong and sent me home with the advice to just take it easy.

After suffering a massive back infection, severe embolisms and near death, Dr. Mitchell nursed me back to health. He even took the time to visit me in the hospital. After I was released he followed me for the next 2 years on my road to recovery. I am forever greatful.

Dr. Mitchell has been my physician most of my life. He is caring, concerned, and provides the best health care I know of. He takes the time to listen and divulge into deep conversations because he cares. The one thing that is hard for me is the cost of MDVIP. Nothing has changed. All these statements still ring true..
Dr. Mitchell has been my PCP for over 25 years. He knows he has to practice was long as I am present on this earth. He is my healer and my confidant . He pretty much cured my white coat syndrome which also seems to be working with referred physicians as well.His office staff is always top notch.

Dr Mitchell is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to his patients. He is the perfect family practice physician, because he provides many health care services in house, and coordinates services by specialist physicians. I believe it is vital that my primary care doctor have a complete picture of all the treatments and medicines I am receiving, and Dr Mitchell is willing and able to be that health care steward.

That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
