About Stuart J. Benson, DO, FACOI
My internal medicine practice is in Rogers, Arkansas. I have been a primary care physician in
Northwest Arkansas for more than 30 years. As a personal physician, I feel that traditional primary care medicine has changed due to a lack of time physicians have with patients during visits.
My goal as a physician is to provide a more personalized approach to patient care by spending more time listening to you. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medical practices. The annual MDVIP Wellness Program can aid in identifying certain risk markers, and we can customize an action plan as you work to stay ahead of your health.
I have community affiliations with the hospital systems in the Northwest Arkansas area. Because I am not tied to one institution, I can refer to hospitals and specialists who I feel may be appropriate for you.
Because my practice is smaller in size, I can offer appointments for the same or next day. Phone calls are typically answered by a staff member and, importantly, visits are relaxed and not rushed.
Patients can contact me after hours for more urgent matters. Also, I can also provide general primary care for dependents from ages 14 to 26. We also offer 30-minute routine follow-up visits.
I am excited to have more time and focused energy to help you work toward improved health and well-being.

Reviews from the web

Dr Benson is always there for me for all my medical needs, never rushes my appointments and always very professional with all my needs.

Dr Benson has a great staff and have never had a problem with appointments or questions.

The are many benefits to being associated with him since he became a MDVIP Phycician. He is always easy to contact and he returns phone calls promptly. He spends a lot of time with you during appointments and is always very knowledgeable and listens intently to your concerns. He is a a proponent of preventative medicine and ordering the tests needed to achieve results.
I feel very secure knowing that Dr. Benson is my Primary Care Doctor.

I really don't know what I would do without him.
His staff is friendly, explain things, and treat you with respect.
Dealing with insurance I know can be a royal pain for Dr's and for patients, everyone there makes it as painless as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
