My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I am a family physician who tries to make a difference in the lives of my patients. Utilizing a systemic approach to healthcare I believe that I can help my patients best by truly knowing who they are and what is important to them. This means that I address the cause of any complaints, devise a plan to get you back on track and provide continued counsel to empower you to become and remain well. This takes time.

As a member of my MDVIP-affiliated practice I will be able to personalize your healthcare by emphasizing prevention and wellness. The ability to obtain same day evaluations will allow timely treatments to be carried out so that more serious consequences are less likely to develop.

I share my practice with my wife, Diane Fabricius, MD. We both care for people in Oak Ridge and surrounding areas and are affiliated with Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Because of past experiences, I was ready to give up on the medical profession. Then, I had lunch one afternoon with a friend who told me about Dr. Grabenstein. I was so impressed with her glowing praise of him that I left lunch that day and drove the few blocks to his office. He took time to sit and talk to me for more than an hour. Unbelievable! I signed up that day with MDVIP and I have not… See more

My doctor is excellent caring for my health problems, spends plenty of time to listen to my concerns and applies an answer to all my concerns, it might be medication or just adds advice to them.I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Grabenstien as my primary physician. Must add when I need to speak to him by phone, he is prompt returning my calls.

I want to thank Dr Grabenstein for his help after the death of my husband.
He is helping me to understand the process a person goes thru after losing a
loved one. He has also prescribed meds for my high blood pressure more
suited to my age and condition. He has also informed me on types of natural
organic medicines that are helpful as preventable actions to take for… See more
