My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

For more than 26 years as a family physician, I have strived to help patients see the bigger picture of their health – how nutrition, supplements, physical activity, sleep, and self-care can affect physical and mental wellbeing, longevity, and disease prevention. We are only given one body in this life and I believe how we take care of it is paramount to a full, satisfying existence. Throughout my medical career, I have developed wonderful relationships with my patients. I have learned so much from them as I believe they have learned from me. I have taken care of generations of families and feel privileged to be a part of their lives through successes, tough times, weddings, births and funerals.

I am a proponent of caring for the whole person, and I am excited to offer individualized healthcare to my patients through my MDVIP-affiliated practice. With a smaller patient panel, I am able to act as a health coach as we travel together on your health journey. Through personalized care and the extensive wellness exam, we can develop a unique health plan for you, and I can help you achieve your healthcare goals. I will be your advocate when speaking to medical specialists to help navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. We can apply a proactive rather than reactive approach.

I am incredibly excited about my MDVIP affiliation and helping patients and their families. Additionally, I can offer same- or next-day appointments with little to no waiting time. I can spend the time that is needed to answer medical questions and get to know each patient better to understand what motivates them. I am available for direct communication with patients during the day and after hours. I look forward to partnering with you to not only help improve treatment for current conditions, but also focus on helping to prevent disease.
