In August 2023, I started to experience low left quadrant pain in my abdomen. I felt that the issues were in my colon but Dr. Rupp wanted me to have an ultrasound in my pelvic area. After a series of tests, bloodwork and a subsequent biopsy, I was diagnosed with endometrial high-grade serous carcinoma. I was still experiencing pain near my sigmoid colon but the CT scan originally didn’t show anything other than mild thickness in the area. Dr. Rupp did not settle for that answer. She contacted the radiologist and asked them to take a second look. After further review, it was found that the cancer had metastasize and attached to my colon. Without her follow through, care and concern, I don’t know where I would be right now. Moving to MDVIP and Dr. Rupp was the best decision I have made.
