My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as an Ascension Medical Group internal medicine physician is to help improve the quality of life of my patients by providing knowledgeable, compassionate care and health-enhancing education. I am dedicated to professional excellence and providing personalized healthcare that fits the needs of each individual patient. The motto of my medical school, “To Make Man Whole,” has been an integral part of my personal philosophy since I began practicing medicine 30 years ago. This means partnering with patients to address all their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and ensuring that their personal health goals are both acknowledged and achieved. I strive to make each individual feel welcome and at home in my office, and I have also been blessed with an exceptional staff, which further contributes to a caring, personal office atmosphere. I proudly continue my twenty-five year affiliation with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital and embrace their mission to offer compassionate, personalized care using the latest innovations in healthcare that address the whole person.

I entered the field of medicine driven by the desire to help others, and the MDVIP personalized approach to medicine allows me to better accomplish this goal, which was not nearly as possible in a traditional practice. Personalized medicine focuses on meeting the unique individual needs of each patient. The added time afforded to each patient in my practice allows me the opportunity to address wellness and prevention, which is often pushed aside in traditional practices due to time constraints. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time. The unhurried pace of my practice allows my patients and me to explore and address health concerns, which in turn should translate to better health outcomes. There is no more important individual asset than one’s health, and I invite you to partner with me to help you become the healthiest version of you.
