My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

For more than 26 years as a family physician, I have strived to help patients see the bigger picture of their health – how nutrition, supplements, physical activity, sleep, and self-care can affect physical and mental wellbeing, longevity, and disease prevention. We are only given one body in this life and I believe how we take care of it is paramount to a full, satisfying existence. Throughout my medical career, I have developed wonderful relationships with my patients. I have learned so much from them as I believe they have learned from me. I have taken care of generations of families and feel privileged to be a part of their lives through successes, tough times, weddings, births and funerals.

I am a proponent of caring for the whole person, and I am excited to offer individualized healthcare to my patients through my MDVIP-affiliated practice. With a smaller patient panel, I am able to act as a health coach as we travel together on your health journey. Through personalized care and the extensive wellness exam, we can develop a unique health plan for you, and I can help you achieve your healthcare goals. I will be your advocate when speaking to medical specialists to help navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. We can apply a proactive rather than reactive approach.

I am incredibly excited about my MDVIP affiliation and helping patients and their families. Additionally, I can offer same- or next-day appointments with little to no waiting time. I can spend the time that is needed to answer medical questions and get to know each patient better to understand what motivates them. I am available for direct communication with patients during the day and after hours. I look forward to partnering with you to not only help improve treatment for current conditions, but also focus on helping to prevent disease.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Rupp

from Yvonne in MI March 25, 2024 for Mary E. Rupp, MD

I am thrilled to have Dr. Mary Rupp as my primary care physician. MDVIP has made it possible to have a primary Doctor Who you can see without having to wait. It’s such a relief to have Dr. Rupp available when I need to see her or have a question. When I go to the office, I know I’m going to be seen within a few minutes and Dr. Rupp has as much time as I need to treat and answer any questions… See more

She’s top notch! *************
I don’t have any specific experience to offer. I’ve been with her for 20+. Her continuing support during my regular visits has kept me free of any serious health issue. When she a became a MDVIP, I immediately signed on. I continue to have her fullest understanding and respect for my continued good health.

In August 2023, I started to experience low left quadrant pain in my abdomen. I felt that the issues were in my colon but Dr. Rupp wanted me to have an ultrasound in my pelvic area. After a series of tests, bloodwork and a subsequent biopsy, I was diagnosed with endometrial high-grade serous carcinoma. I was still experiencing pain near my sigmoid colon but the CT scan originally didn’t show… See more

from Douglas in MI February 11, 2024 for Mary E. Rupp, MD

I ask myself this question on a regular basis. What would I do if Dr Marybeth Rupp wasn't helping me navigate my health problems. Whether it's just an infection or I find I can barely leave the house with my foot pain, she always comes through for me. I have dealt with a lot of doctors in my day but she is the only one that makes me feel like she really cares and I know she genuinely… See more

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rupp for some time, it’s difficult to find a physician that you feel comfortable with and can provide you with all the medical support you may need as you age. Having worked in the medical field for 44 years, I’ve seen a lot of changes, most not for the better. It seems that now, when I may need more ongoing support medically, insurance and providers don’t support… See more
