About Prasanth Gogineni, MD, FACP
My commitment is to provide my patients with more personalized care and attention. I believe that a tailored approach to healthcare is essential to better achieve and maintain overall well-being. As your primary care physician, my goal is to establish a deep understanding of your unique health needs and concerns, which can help me to create a comprehensive and individualized wellness plan for you.
One of the key features of this more personalized care approach is my availability, which is why my MDVIP-affiliated practice offers same- and next-day visits and appointments can last as long as needed. I aim to help ensure that you receive care you need when you need it. This more proactive approach can also help us to address health issues more promptly, helping to prevent potential complications and better promoting overall wellness.
I am dedicated to providing longer visits for each patient. I strongly believe that personalized healthcare cannot be rushed, and by allowing more time during appointments, we can delve into your health history, discuss any health concerns, and design a more comprehensive preventive care strategy. These longer visit times can also foster open and transparent communication, enabling us to work together in pursuit of a healthier you.
Preventive care is the cornerstone of my practice philosophy. By focusing on preventive measures, such as regular health screenings and lifestyle assessments, we can better detect potential health risks earlier and better implement preventive strategies to safeguard your well-being. This practice style can not only help to improve health outcomes, but it can also help to reduce the need for more extensive medical interventions in the future when possible.
As a dedicated healthcare professional, I am deeply committed to serving the community. I value the importance of building strong doctor-patient relationships based on trust, empathy and mutual respect. Your health and satisfaction are my top priorities, and I am here to support you on your journey to a healthier and happier life.

Reviews from the web

He has a winning personality, and we have worked out a relationship that fits my needs.
He has good work habits and doesn't cut corners. He is also up to date and has no problem asking for Consultations.
Since my background is in Postgraduate Medical Education, I am fairly critical of people who cut corners,
He doesn't, he's a good one, keep him.

Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
