Reviews from the web

I had struggled with symptoms resembling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 10+ years and my original doctor tried every test and various specialists in an unsuccessful effort to diagnose and treat this condition.
My symptoms included debilitating fatigue, nausea, swollen glands, lip sores, loss of appetite, and poor sleep, along with the need for daily naps.
These symptoms were present 3-6 months a year, were unpredictable and varied in intensity. They could be triggered by any significant exertion. I was hypersensitive to colds and flu which I caught easily and their symptoms could last many weeks, all on top of what I have just listed. All symptoms were eased by taking the maximum dose of Tylenol and Advil, daily, which I did for months at a time.
At my second consult with Dr.Fisher he concluded that the cold sores that always accompanied the onset of my malaise were a result of a virus that was triggering the constellation of other symptoms. He prescribed a medication which I take daily and which cured everything, instantly.
In addition to restoring my health, energy, and quality of life I was able to stop taking the massive doses of Tylenol and Advil I was on. Unbeknownst to me, I was also suffering from moderately severe kidney disease due to years of taking those medications in order to manage my malaise. After 6 months off those over-the-counter medications my tests showed that my kidney function was normal.
I can not say enough about what a difference Dr. Fisher has made in restoring my health but I think that the results speak for themselves.

I am writing this review to express my deep concern and disappointment with the actions of
Dr. David Fisher, MD, from Cincinnati, Ohio. My father-in-law, a Vietnam War veteran, has
been under his care since January 12, 2024. Despite the initial continuity of care, we have
recently experienced a distressing situation that has put my father-in-law's health at risk.
Dr. Fisher, who had been filling my father-in-law's prescriptions for several narcotics
(medications he has relied on for over 20 years due to chronic pain), suddenly decided to
terminate his patient status, effective May 29th. While it is within a doctor's rights to
choose their patients, what followed this decision is what I find most alarming.
After receiving the termination letter, my father-in-law, understandably upset, expressed his
frustration to a nurse at the doctor's office. In response, Dr. Fisher has chosen to withhold
all of his medications and refuse to call in his refills. This abrupt cessation of necessary
medication not only goes against the promise of continued care until the termination date
but also puts my father-in-law in a dangerous position, as he could suffer life-threatening
reactions from not having these medications.
It is deeply concerning that a healthcare professional would choose to put a patient in
harm's way in retaliation for harsh words. Especially considering that my father-in-law is a
combat veteran diagnosed with PTSD, it is crucial to approach such situations with
understanding and empathy.
In conclusion, I find Dr. Fisher's actions to be highly unprofessional and potentially
dangerous. It is essential for doctors to uphold their Hippocratic Oath to do no harm, and in
this case, I believe Dr. Fisher has failed to do so. I hope this review serves as a reminder of
the importance of empathy, understanding, and professionalism in the medical field.

Since my first review posting above, I remain HIGHLY satisfied with MDVIP and Dr Fisher and his staff. Access, attention, quality of care are all EXCELLENT. I can't imagine being happier with my health care team... including MDVIP.

Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
