As an Ascension Medical Group doctor, I provide compassionate, personalized care. I strongly believe in treating each patient in a very individualized manner. This can only be done by being truly interested in spending the time required to better understand the factors that play a part in your health. Sometimes, these factors are straightforward, other times, complex. But at all times, I will listen to you! You know your body – your symptoms, your response to past treatment and your concerns. My passion as a primary care physician is to gather that information from you and meld it with the data from your physical examination and test results to help determine your diagnosis and plan. 
 
That takes time. It takes time to collect information and review it. It takes time to process this information, especially when considering the many possible causes of a patient's symptoms. And in many cases, it takes time to research the possible etiologies of your symptoms. I have spent many hours and many nights working to figure out what has been causing someone’s symptoms; I am tenacious to that end. I was drawn to internal medicine by this problem-solving aspect. Your case may be easy to treat, or it may be a challenge to diagnose. In either case, I will do my best to help prevent, manage or treat your medical condition. The turnstile, high-volume, speed-walking care is not beneficial to the patient or physician. These have their place in medicine, but they are not my way.
