My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

As your internal medicine physician, my goal is to always give complete medical care. I will develop a partnership with you, taking the necessary time to listen and understand what is important to you. We will work together to help you identify and reach your health and wellness goals. I promise to give you the respect, dignity and compassion you deserve.

As an MDVIP-affiliated private practice physician, I continually strive to deliver highly personalized healthcare. My practice is small, which allows me to provide you with more time and attention. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time. I believe in the importance of open communication and can be reached through my cell phone, email or office phone.

My office is conveniently located in Great Neck, New York, near the Queens and Nassau County border. I have privileges at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park and can follow my patients there when they are admitted.

I am also a "house-call" physician for disabled adults in both Queens and Nassau County. I currently provide house calls to patients at North Shore Towers, as well as to individuals in Bayside, Bellerose, Elmont, Farmingdale, Flushing, Forest Hills, Garden City, Great Neck, Hempstead, Manhasset, New Hyde Park, Plainview, Port Washington, Roslyn, Queens Village, Sands Point, Syosset, and Whitestone. I am bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.

I am accepting new patients age 18 and older and welcome you to give my office a call to discuss how my practice can best serve you or someone you care about.

My husband and I met Dr. Cohen in 2008 when we were 80 years old. He had been recommended by the staff at our local senior center. We were so impressed with this kind, soft-spoken and knowledgeable physician. Dr Cohen treated us with respect, we never felt rushed and his care was always excellent. The office staff and his lovely wife Yvonne were great. Visits to Dr Cohen were always fun… See more

A while ago, my 50+ lb. dog was chasing our new puppy around the backyard while I stood watching in front of some bushes.. The pup ran behind me, in the narrow space. The dog thought he'd fit too. He didn't. Although I did not fall down, the blow to the outer side of my left leg resulted in at the shattering of the plateau of my tibia. After my husband helped me hop into the… See more
