Meet Benjamin Linden, MD

My name is Dr. Benjamin “BJ” Linden and I am a second-generation family physician, dedicated husband and father. I am honored to provide personalized and proactive care in my home community of Highland Village, Texas. As your doctor, I aim to treat you as a whole person, considering your individual stage of life and health goals. I take great pride in delivering more  personalized care in a calm, unhurried environment—where I have more time to listen, and you have the space to ask questions and feel heard.

I find great fulfillment in discussing with patients everything from straightforward issues to more complex cases, while also helping my patients feel empowered to take a proactive approach to their health. I often tell my patients that my role is to think at least 10 years ahead of where they are now. With this in mind, I develop personalized care plans that consider both lifestyle choices and potential genetic factors. 

I am affiliated with Texas Health Flower Mound and Medical City Lewisville, and I also have relationships with local specialists. In my MDVIP model of practice, I have more time to speak with specialists on my patients’ cases when necessary.

I am an advocate for a comprehensive model of primary care—an approach that has become increasingly rare, I believe, in recent years. Most importantly, I treasure the opportunity to build meaningful connections with my patients and grow alongside them throughout the different stages of life.

I’m 76 years old and a patient for nearly four years. I moved to this area after my wife passed away. We’ve had this recent annual physical planned and scheduled by their office for nearly a year. Sunday the 25th of May they sent me a email reminding me of my appointment on Tuesday, the 27th. To arrive 15 minutes before my 8:00 appointment and to come fully hydrated. I arrived on time and sat for nearly 30 minutes, waiting. I was called up and told I would not be seen or treated because I chose not to become a member ($6,000+ a year) of the new program they were starting on June 1.

Would not recommend Benjamin Linden, he seems to be confused about the definition of appointment, there was not a single time he showed up to work on time, waiting time 30-40 minutes pass appointment time, he also seems to be confused about his job, it's very simple, hiring doctor is like hiring any other technician, plumber,electrician , mechanic and so on , you hire and pay them to do a job , you make appointment to get the job done , if they can't show up to work on time you hire someone else, simple , I guess some doctors don't understand it and think they are something special, not the best way to run businesses, sooner or later you will run out of customers, if you desire to waste your time and money go see Benjamin Linden

The wait time is ridiculous! They expect you to be there 15mins early only to have you wait in a room for an hour or hour and a half waiting for 15mins of the doctor's time and the staff believes that is totally normal. They expect you to respect the doctor's time all the while disrespecting yours. Also, the patient portal and app suck.

I have been a patient at this practice for the last 4 years mainly being followed just for check ups with Dr. Linden. I would say my experience was just ok...until I actually needed my doctor and I was greatly disappointed that it took 4 phone calls to get lab results taken care of. When I finally spoke to his nurse she was very rude and I requested to speak directly to the doctor only to find out he was just as cold and rude as she was. I knew right then that this was not the kind of medical care that I wanted to put my health in. I would consider seeking another practice that gets back to patient on a timely manner and treats them with compassion.

Aparantly they dont see patients unless they pay for the membership service. Membership fee is $2500/ year. So I am guessing primary physical care for this doctor is for once who can afford their outrageous Membership fee?

Is this even fair and allowed by the state?
Why dont these guys spend more time specializing in practice that makes them more money rather than coming up with a BS idea of making more money and adding Membership service that costs 2500/year?

This doctor office writes there own review they dont want anyone they havent known for 25 year and their Familys they discriminate against anyone that moves in to the area that is not a former family to Tx and Highlandvillage even if you have lived here 25 30 year the dont want Medicare patients and they want to money you for every little this and That is before they ever see you and they have a Bull Dog secertay that screams every person that calls they over Book them and then complain this is not the Dr You want to see 50 to get in 50 if your late the make you wait out side to fill out the keyoskthen tell you they didnt get your informaton then tell you your late when you have been sitting there 1 he before you appoint ment they dont care about paints just there pocket book

I'm so over this doctor. He started a new wellness plan and has been spamming me with texts, emails, and phone calls since. The last straw was when my son came in today and waited 45 minutes for an appointment. He's a young guy and didn't handle it well, but a 45 minute wait is beyond ridiculous. And this is when it over 2 weeks to book the appointment in the first place. Guess I'll be finding a new family doctor.

I have always been uncomfortable with any and every doctor. However, DR Benjamin Linden is remarkably intuitive and has been able to move my hesitancy and more or less cryptic answers about my mental and physical health in a positive direction. He never dismisses me, which is important; I have a historic medical issue and feel comfortable telling him when I think I am symptomatic. With other doctors, I felt I had to wait until I had a major infection to “prove” that medication was warranted. DR. Linden is accomplished, skillful and a gifted professional. During my appointments, he has always been kind, yet still persistent and thorough. He provides a remarkably different experience then what I am accustomed to. I am very fortunate to have gotten DR Benjamin Linden as my primary care physician.

Dr Ben Linden is a wonderful Dr. He has taken care of my wife, kids and I for years. He is personable, knowledgeable and very intuitive. The office staff have always been kind and helpful.
