About Hema V. Nathan, MD
My objective as your personal physician partner is to help address current medical concerns and help you get ahead of your long-term health. I will work with you at each step to help you make informed decisions toward better achieving your goals – whether it's adopting a healthier lifestyle or reducing your disease risk. You can count on me to take the time to educate you about your condition and to communicate effectively with you both during and in between visits.
As one of the few family medicine doctors in Ventura County offering this personalized healthcare approach, I provide care that can help you gain better control of your health. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time.
My practice is located in Thousand Oaks, California, and serves patients from Agoura Hills, Brandeis, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Somis, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village. We focus on preventive care in addition to all aspects of primary care. I am affiliated with Los Robles Hospital and am fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and Punjabi.

Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
