My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

A partnership between a doctor and a patient is the bedrock on which the practice of good medicine is founded; it is based on mutual trust and respect that is earned, not given. My MDVIP-affiliated practice allows more time for the doctor‐patient relationship to develop and for the doctor to be able to educate him‐ or herself in the ever‐changing world of modern medicine. I will partner with you, carefully review records and perform comprehensive exams to proactively prevent problems rather than retroactively react to illnesses.

As one of the last independent internal medicine doctors in southern Maine, I am beholden to no one but my patients and can practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced. My primary care practice will provide a level of care that is patient‐focused, personal, empathetic and up‐to‐date. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.

With over 20 years of experience in practicing medicine in Maine, I have developed close relationships with specialists in the area and can help coordinate care for your unique needs that I cannot personally handle. I have a special interest in cardiology, gastroenterology, chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, weight management and in preventive medicine. I treat patients throughout York County (Kennebunk, Ogunquit, Kittery, etc.) as well s in the New Hampshire Seacost Region (Potsmouth, Exeter, Rye, etc.) and have hospital privileges at Southern Maine Healthcare Center in Biddeford, Maine as well as Frisbie Hospital in Rochester, NH.

Telemedicine Option: I am also using telemedicine visits to stay connected with my patients when they are unable to see me in the office. It is easy to do, and we have maintained our momentum with preventive health goals and chronic care during difficult times.
