This story is just one of several times we have needed Dr. Shinder and she has definitely not let us down. My husband‘s blood pressure went sky high just before we went out of the country. She adjusted his medication immediately but then we left for vacation and his blood pressure fluctuated quite a bit while we were away. He was very nervous about it. She asked him to call her daily and keep… See more

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Shinder
I have many stories about Dr Stacey Pollak Shinder that was very important. But! this one I will never forget. I was at JFK for one week and an intern came in and said he was taking off my IV which would by ok and was going to give me my antibiotic by mouth even though I hadn't eaten for a couple of days. My wife said NO and called Dr Shinder who came to the hospital immediately and let… See more
Dr. Stacy Shinder has been my doctor for about 25 years and with her caring help and wisdom, I’m about to celebrate my 81st birthday.
There has never been a time that I could not promptly get in to see her, or have a returned phone call, even for minor things. It is unique that in her practice, there is always time for clear explanations and conversation, not necessarily about… See more
Without your knowledge and kindness I would not be in the best of health that I am feeling right now. I would never change Doctors because it would never be the same feelings that I have for you. Don't ever change!
My wife and I have had the good fortune to be under the care of Dr Shinder. for nearly two years. She is smart, prompt, efficient, empathetic and always available. Her thoughtfulness, attention, to detail and her insight and understanding of our medical and personal issues is someting we are continuously grateful for. Thank you Dr Shinder
While I don’t have any specific story lauding Dr. Stacey Pollak Shinder, I must attest to the fact that she and her office staff are always so very attentive to my needs. When Dr. Shinder says she will call me at home, she (usually her and not her staff) does so unfailingly even if the call is way beyond business hours. There is an expression about people having one another’s back. Well, Dr.… See more
I'm 76. I've lived in NYC, NJ, Long Island, Upstate NY, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta and now am retired in Southeastern Florida. Over the years I've had doctors of every stripe, temperament and competence level. I have never been more comfortable with a doctor than I am with my primary care physician Dr Stacy Shider. She listens, she's extraordinarily knowledgeable, she… See more
I fell and hit ny head on tile floor. Called Dr. Shinder a day later. She asked me pertinent questions and advised me to keep non touch with her. I decided to go to the ER a few days later and called to advise her. Dr. Shinder asked if I’d fallen again. I had not. I was then told a Cat Scan was being set up for me
End result-I had a brain tumor. I had a craniotomy.

I called Dr. Shinder in the morning and told her i had some pain in my lower abdomen. She told me to come in at 3:30 that day . Upon seeing me she immediately sent me for a cat scan. Forty five minutes later she had the results and called me to tell me I had a ruptured colon, and she was sending an ambulance for me at the office where I had the c-t scan. She arranged for the ambulance to take… See more
I have been with Dr. Shinder several years. She takes as much time as you want when I see her and is so proactive that I feel safe with her judgement. I went to see her three years ago with minor complaints of just feeling "crappy". She took one look at me called for an EKG and immediately called for an ambulance. I was on the operating table the next morning. She is my heroine.
