You will wait forever, every time. They will say they had too many patients, it is not normally like this, but every time you go in it is the same. The doctor is nice but this practice runs at a snails pace with outdated equipment

Dr Snell is great, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. He’s empathic, compassionate, caring, understanding, and professional. The office and treatment rooms are clean and well kept. The waiting room is clean, I spend maybe 15 mins till I’m called back to a treatment room by the nurse, which takes your PB, temp, weight, and other vital signs (the normal pre-appointment procedures) and I waited maybe 5-10 mins before Dr Snell walked in. Always offers a hand shake and starts his assessment from the very beginning and addresses all concerns at hand. He doesn’t pamper you, if you’re wanting to be pampered, I promise he’s not your father or mother, he’s your doctor and he’s great at that. He’s had some trouble with past staff members but the last few times I’ve been in the office, there’s new RNs who are also very interpersonal and caring. Another thing I like about Dr Snell is he’s not only an MD but also trained in DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) which means he is trained in chiropractic also and treats the whole body as one and is not just writing Rx and sends you out the door. He does full chiropractic adjustments to help in the healing and wellness of the entire body. My last appointment I needed a stat x-ray and CT scan, which were scheduled immediately and I had the results called to me the same day within hours of the scans themselves. He does not rely on a PA or NP he sees each of his patients and sometimes has students that follow behind him from KSU that are premed students.

I am so pleased with Dr. Snell and his staff. He has been our family doctor (for 5 of us at one point) for more than two decades. He listens, takes the tie needed, and is very practical. His staff knows us well and we get personal service. It is so great that he does adjustments as well as routine medicine.

This practice exists solely to bill insurance. What other professional corporations will do over the phone (customer service) this practice will not consult unless there is a billable option that can be pursued regardless. No focus on the patient is considered, only what can be billed to insurance. As well, Doctor doesn't listen to patients and has a treatment (generally expensive and relatively unneeded) ready before you have even finished talking. Bedside manner (if you want to call it that doesn't exist.) Front office is generally not pleasant to deal with either in person or over the phone and tends not to be the least bit informed about patients except what their copay is or how to bill. Follow on by the office is generally poor and unprofessional.
After 20 years in the Military, this office makes routine health care in a van or tent an desirable alternative option. If you have Tricare - look elsewhere. You deserve better and should expect that. You have earned it.
In the end your money and your health are far to important to give to anyone less than the best, This isn't it.........

Dr Snell and his staff are wonderful! This is a small practice that offers a personal feel and take the time to address any concerns you may have. You are a memorable patient not a number here. I have been seeing Dr Snell for over 10 years and have no complaints. The negative reviews I see seem to be from patients looking for a larger hospital owned practice. For me this practice is the right fit.

My experience as a new patient was spectacular. Dr Snell not only has wisdom from his 35 years of experience, but he is he is well versed with all of the medical updates. This is a place where you don’t feel rushed for the 15 minute check up that most people are routinely subjected to. The staff is friendly & competent. Won’t think about changing to someone else; I found my primary.

I been seeing Dr. Snell for years. As with all Dr's offices they are staffed by humans. Overall Dr. Snell is has been effective in diagnosis, treatment, testing recommendations, and responsiveness. All of this with a smile and a hand shake. Any time i have gone to his office I have seen Dr. Snell not his PA or RN always Dr. Snell. His nurses answer the phone or call you back. No there is not a lot of social conversation and they follow the rules. If you haven't been in the office in 6 months he will probably insist on seeing you and testing before prescribing refills. Dr. Snell puts in the time with his patient!

I arrived at 9:40 am for 9:50 appt. They called me back in about 15 minutes later only to wait in the room for an hour! The room was filthy!!!! Dr. Snell came in (very old & slow). He spike to me for a few minutes and told me to strip from waist up. I thought he said hed return shortly. 30 minutes goes by and I ask the nurse whats houng on. She tried to stall me "Oh its okay ma'am. He will be back soon." I was so frustrated I got dressed and left!

Basically, I agree with all seven of these reviews. On the negative side is what I consider unprofessional and dismissive behavior on the part of the administrative staff. This attitude can also be experienced with a few of the nurses. Policies and Procedures are rigid and inflexible. They do not allow for the "human" equation or emergency needs. This can be seen in how refills are handled. One of the nurses, (Jennifer) is wonderful! Dr. Snell seems forgetful at times and may not carry out completely the health issues of an office visit, unless it fits within the policy framework (e.g., come back for an appointment designed for more time).
On the positive side, Dr. Snell, himself, is always pleasant and congenial and I affirm his competency as a physician. I have tried hard to follow his medical advice and instructions (altho' I have failed at times in this regard, too). He has addressed the most critical of my health issues and I am more than satisfied.
On balance, this arrangement is not what I want from a medical professional. I am examining other options

Dr. Snell is very nice and friendly. However his office staff is rude, lazy and incompetent. The office staff's lack of respect and service for their customers is pretty apparent. My family will no longer be seen at this practice, not because of Dr. Snell but because of his employees. And apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way due to the other reviews of this practice. That might tell you something when it's not just one or two people expressing their concerns.

I have only seen Dr. Snell once. It felt a lot like the same appointments I used to get while in the military, just an insurance number and keep it moving. Dr. Snell was attentive while looking over my injury it just seemed rushed and not personal at all. Dr. Snell was ok, Im writing this review because the customer service is terrible. Two referrals for specialists and two big ordeals, just a lack of communication between their own staff and need for SOP on how to provide good health care. For what I spend on insurance theres no reason to get this kind of customer service from a doctors office. Staff needs customer service training!! Look else were if you have tricare.

As an Air Force officer assigned by Tricare Remote to Dr. Snell as my PCM, I am utterly shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism and even courtesy I was extended as a new patient attempting to make an appointment. I was hung up on twice and then my calls when to voicemail before their 1245 - 2 pm lunch break. Needless to say, I informed tricare and switched PCMs. Save yourself the unprofessionalism and don't call this office. They missed out on guaranteed Tricare insurance payments.

I have put off writing a review in fear of being treated differently. I absolutely hate this place. I stayed for a few months to just use it until my insurance ran out and I then would start a different doctor. Paper work sucks for somethings I have so I just try to bare with it! This doctor needs to RETIRE!! I felt like another number and felt like that office was just trying to make another dollar rather than treat me like a patient. Most of the time when I would call to make an appointment the person picking up the phone was always grumpy and upset as if I had said something when I havent even gotten pass "hello." By the way they still make their appointments on paper in a binder!!! They need to change to computers!!! This doctor is soo senile. I understand that you see alot of people but I've been in several times within two months and he would always look and study my chart as if I was a new patient every time. Every visit he would always suggest check ups in which I had just done with him. Suggesting such things made me think he was just trying to make another 50 dollars off me every visit. He always has someone following him (a student shadowing) and thats not a bad thing but when I like that student (more like a doctor student?) it got really hard trying to see him because hes just someone I don't want to see. The student would be gone by the time I got back and replaced by another. Also what I don't understand is how long an appointment takes in the morning. And its not like a busy time. I would literally be in as soon as they would open (leading me to think that I'm possibly the first or second patient of the day.) yet it will literally take me 2 hours for the entire appointment. I would spend up to an hour or more just waiting in the patient room alone only to spend 20 minutes max with the doctor. I hated the staff and I hate the doctor. I think he may need to go into a home bc hes so senile and he even once farted before leaving my little patient room. Yes folks! I said it! HE FARTED AND LEFT ME IN THE DUST!! Idk if he was just trying an external male organ or he just needed to change his depends. I hated this place!!!

Dr. Snell has been our family's physician for at least 20 years...and we continue with him to this day! We've always found him to be a VERY caring and competent physician who takes time to listen and addresses health issues with common sense and appropriate medication and/or referrals. In fact, he identified my husband's heart problems (overlooked by another physician) and referred him immediately to a heart surgeon, most likely saving my husband's life. The staff throughout these years has been friendly and helpful. Thank you, Dr. Snell and staff!

Had an appointment at 3 and arrived 15 min early to fill out paperwork. An hour later I was still in the waiting room and two other people came and were called back. When I asked I was told they see people in order of appointment times. So I guess those people who came after me were late for their appointments or they triple booked the 3pm time slot or are terrible at making appointments. Either way I was a first time patient and I walked out. I'm a busy person and feel like an hour of my time was stolen that I will never get back. I'm finding someone else. All the negative reviews about this place must be right.

A very nice small practice who is well covered with other on call physicians. The staff is friendly, responsive and prioritizes need to be seen well. Dr Snell is articulate and attentive regarding healthcare issues. I see a variety of "speciality" physicians and find Dr Snell to enhance and explain information given by others. If you prefer a new, young graduate , his practice may not be your choice. But I am well pleased and receive excellent care and information!
