John Kane, CTO

As a technology executive, John Kane has over two decades of experience leading engineering, architecture and analytics teams in high-growth financial technology and SaaS businesses. He joined MDVIP in 2024. Previously, John was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Billtrust, where he served as the Divisional CTO for Payments, overseeing platforms that processed over $100 billion in annual transactions. His leadership was instrumental in driving product innovation, AI integration and business growth, contributing to key financial milestones such as Billtrust's IPO and private equity acquisitions. Prior to Billtrust, John held senior roles at TravelClick, where he spearheaded cloud analytics, AI and data-driven SaaS solutions. His career also includes leadership positions at Torus Insurance, JetBlue and Towers Perrin Reinsurance, where he played a crucial role in technology transformations and enterprise architecture. John holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Drexel University. His expertise in financial technology, AI-driven analytics and large-scale cloud platforms continues to drive digital innovation and transformation in the industry.
