My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I have been an internal medicine physician in the Great Neck, New York area for over 25 years. As your private doctor in my MDVIP-affiliated practice, similar to concierge medicine, my goal is to give complete, personalized care. I believe that getting to know the patient during relaxed, unhurried visits allows me to provide better care and to diagnose and treat problems other physicians in high volume practices may be missing. My smaller practice will allow me to provide you with more time and attention.

As an independent physician, I will refer patients to any specialist I believe would provide foremost care for that patient. I am not bound by large healthcare systems which must refer within themselves. I believe each patient is an individual with unique problems, not a number.  I will partner with you on a personal level to help you achieve the optimal health we all value. As an osteopathic physician, I have been trained to treat the patient as a whole, often helping my pulmonary patients with a wide array of medical problems. I believe in the importance of open communication and can be reached via cell phone, email or office phone.

I also provide consultations for patients who have pulmonary disorders such as Asthma, COPD, Pneumonia and Pulmonary Fibrosis.  I am also board certified in Sleep Medicine, treating conditions such as Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome, Insomnia and Shift Work Sleep Disorder. I believe in education and have strived to be a knowledgeable physician with board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. I have been the medical director of the respiratory therapy program at Molloy College for over 23 years. I also have academic appointments at Hofstra University and Touro Medical School.

As your private doctor we can work as a team to formulate a wellness plan that will help you achieve your healthcare goals.
