My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
My overarching goal as your personal physician is two-fold: to partner with you to prevent or manage disease and to help you preserve your health and vitality as you age. Health maintenance has always been my focus, and my practice is committed to an approach that allows for prevention of illness while focusing on individual patient needs.
In addition to being an internist and primary care physician for close to 25 years, I'm also a board-certified cardiologist. All of my training, including more recent functional medicine training, contributes to my comprehensive planning for each patient’s overall health and disease prevention. The personalized care model that I offer as an affiliate of MDVIP affords me the tools and the time to focus thoroughly on each individual patient. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. It’s also given me the time to study and learn new approaches to different health issues so that I am able to continue growing my fund of medical knowledge and applying this knowledge in a clinical setting.
My staff and I are devoted to providing a pleasant medical experience, whether it’s referral to another doctor or simply getting a same-day or next-day appointment. The frustration of today’s traditional medical practices is left at the door when you enter my office. My entire team takes our mission of personalized care to heart and aims to "get the job done" for patients, no matter what services they need.
My office is located centrally in Aventura and is convenient both from all areas of Aventura and Southern Broward County (Hallandale/Hollywood) and is a quick drive from Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour and even Miami Beach. In addition, we are bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish in our office. I am affiliated with Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. I also have relationships with physicians at all local medical centers, including Memorial Regional, Mount Sinai Medical Center and University of Miami.
