My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I first became aware of my passion to become a doctor at the age of 6 and it has never waned. As a board-certified family medicine physician, I care for the whole patient: body, mind and spirit. This necessitates a doctor-patient relationship centered on mutual trust and respect, which begins with the first encounter and must be nurtured over time in order for the relationship to produce the most beneficial results and mutual satisfaction. 

Preventive health and wellness programs are mainstays of our practice and make for healthy and happy patients. The same goes for the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, along with attention to diagnostic accuracy and the logistics of managing a patient-friendly practice. I believe this is what primary care is all about. 

At all times and under all foreseeable circumstances, as an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I will be available to advise you, to be your medical advocate and, when called upon, to supervise your overall medical care. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices. 

With over 30 years of practice in this community, I am well acquainted with many of the specialists in this area and am familiar with the hospitals available to our patients and families. It is a great honor to be chosen by my patients to be their physician. It is not one that I take for granted.
