My wife and I, aged 90 & 88 respectively, decided after 20 years of Condo living on St Pete Beach to move into an Independent Living facility. With much pressure from children/granchildren we inspected, stayed overnight at facilities in the Atlanta area and St Petersburg Fl. We had many things to consider but my wife, Patricia, stopped the discussion by simply stating, we are not… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and returned to the area in 1986 to start my medical practice in the same community as my father and two brothers who were also physicians. Since then, I have been actively involved with our local medical and Jewish communities. I am part of several university sponsored medical residency training programs that require me to keep current with ever-changing recommendations and advancements in medicine. I frequently lecture to physicians and community members on various topics, especially those pertaining to medicine and geriatrics. As a board-certified family doctor and geriatrician, I am acutely aware of the many unique challenges that can occur as people age. I have a special interest in and experience with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. My experience as the medical director of long-term care facilities has allowed me to help patients, as well as their families and caregivers, cope with memory loss and functional decline associated with aging. I have a special interest in genetic testing and how this cutting-edge technology can determine the ideal medicines and care. Our office provides care to adults of all ages. We provide physicals and well-women exams, obtain in-office lab work and ECGs and perform minor office surgeries and cryotherapy.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. LeVine
Dr Levine and the appointments are long enough that you feel like he knows everything about you, with is great for making decisions on your health. He does what he says, and even trusts his patients to offer a treatment plan, and it’s one he can get behind. I get the meds I need, and switch things out so I don’t ever have a chance to get addicted. Pure genius.

Over twenty years ago, my mother had the fortune of being a patient of Dr. David Levine, and after accompaning my mother for several appointments, I knew she had found the right doctor to nagigate her through the Golden Years. He was thorough, compassionate, and knew what he was doing. He left no stone unturn. Segue years later and I was looking for a new primary doctor since mine had gone on… See more
I don’t have a specific experience to relate about Dr. Levine. What I do have is a continuum of times when he was quick to respond to our texts, take serious our questions about all topics, see us within a few hours of our call, call us back with answers or advice, and so many other times too numerous to mention. He is our health advocate and partner, never scolding, always encouraging. He… See more
I am content when my life runs evenly, without crises or uncertainty. Dr. David LeVine has observed my behavior and needs accurately and has responded accordingly when necessary. He has insight and compassion, a friendly, yet professional approach. I’m very comfortable discussing my health and concerns with him.
I have an extreme phobia regarding needles going directly into my veins. My doctor has won my trust and will personally do my blood draws which eases my anxiety even coming in early to do so.
I worked as a registered nurse for 40yrs before retiring in 2015. Back in 2003-2009 while working as a Case Manager @ a local hospital I had the opportunity to observe the wonderful young Dr Levine. I can even remember thinking of him as such a delightful young “baby doc”. When he came to the floor he would interact with staff both professionally and kindly.. He would then pour over his… See more
