I was referred to Leah Ozdemir DO following the sudden onset of neurological symptoms in my arm in 2021. My PCP at the time evaluated me a few times and said he had "nothing to offer me” in the way of a diagnosis. The symptoms increased in severity so I subsequently went to the neurosurgeon who repaired two cervical fracture dislocations following an MVA earlier in the year. An MRI showed… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
I am board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics with extensive training in dementia and treatment of other chronic medical conditions in adults and the elderly. As one of the few MDVIP-affiliated female physicians in the greater Denver area, I emphasize getting to know each patient beyond their specific medical conditions and tailor the treatment to your unique situation. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
It is important to note that as adults age, physiology and pharmacokinetics change, necessitating a unique care plan. In addition to internal medicine and geriatrics, I have a vast education in exercise and nutrition that will help you achieve specific wellness goals. I am proud to serve my patients with compassion, personal attention and professionalism in providing medical care.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Ozdemir
My previous MDVIP doctor of 30 +/- years informed me in 2021 that his retirement was near, And my healthcare would be put in the hands of a young, female Doctor named, Leah Ozdemir. Being an old-fashion man (back then) on the planet for 3 “score” + 14 years, that’s not what I really wanted to hear. Yet, now 3 years in, Doc Leah, has helped me manage minor maladies to major medical health… See more
I had been bothered by interrupted sleep for quite a while and finally saw a specialist who diagnosed the possible problem and recommended a procedure to help the problem. I consulted Dr. Ozdemir and she kindly took the time to fully explain her opinion of the proposed procedure, how she thought that it was the best procedure for me and was glad that I was a candidate for the procedure. Her… See more

Six months ago I was diagnosed with stage three melanoma. Within two weeks she had me being seen and treated for this cancer. It was a long and difficult surgery. She was there through the entire pre and post op process. One week after surgery, I had… See more
Cannot even express how great my experience has been since switching to DrOzdemir in 2023. I had no idea what having a doctor who really understands and cares about you felt like. I’m just so grateful to have someone I trust and admire . It’s relieved a lot of anxiety about my health concerns because I feel Dr. Ozdemir really gets who I am . Love her❤️
Dr. Ozdemir is caring, affable, and competent primary physician who is committed to a partnership tending to my medical health. For instance, anytime she offers a medical recommendation or insight she always adds —- “ What do you think?”
Almost three years ago she spotted a trend that suggested parathyroidism , we are now exploring treatment options. She is currently shepherding me… See more
I will say right up front that I love my Doctor, who is always in my corner and tries very hard to understand exactly what my concerns are. Even if I don’t quite know what I am talking about or am really unsure of what I am experiencing as a medical problem. She is patient and very kind. She replaces a doctor who retired that as a female patient, I had a harder time relating to although he was… See more
When my original MDVIP physician retired a few years ago, I was nervous about anyone else being able to "fill his shoes". I think he might even have delayed his retirement somewhat waiting until he found the perfect physician to entrust his long-time practice to. He had been my physician for about 32 years, and I had also known him professionally as a nurse practitioner prior to my… See more
Dr.Ozdemir lets my husband and me come to our annual review together, recognizing that we are each other’s best advocates. We are impressed at how well prepared she is to discuss things that have changed in the past year and things we may have talked to her about in previous visits. She sends us home with her notes on any changes we need to make in our routines and drug regimens. She also does… See more
