Always picks up the phone with a smile on his face. Always asks about me and how I’m doing before we get to the real medical questions. Ask about my wife and how we are doing together. And bringing up the specifics of our previous conversation finally we get to the medical part of the question And these questions are met with compassion and concern. I could not find a better person or doctor to help me through this stage of life. Thanks, Dr Im.

I’ve been an MDVip member almost one year. With my nursing experience in ICU and various positions within Pharmaceutical and Nutrition companies, the goal was always to increase quality outcomes & the productivity of life. As a result, I tend to readily recognize outstanding service as well as pitfalls in care and service.

I was first introduced to the MDVip concept when helping friends in Pensacola, FL. They had an MDVip, Dr. Donald Blackmon. I was most impressed with the concept and Dr. Blackmon! For the last 20 years, I’ve helped my parents and my partner navigate the current health care systems in America. This first hand experience left one impression…. What a night mare!  I was determined to search for something better for myself. I knew I had to find my own MDVip!!

It took me close to a year to find the correct specialty & location of an MDVip in my area. Thanks to others that had a hand in recommending me to Dr. Marvin Im of Innovative Medicine in Columbus, OH, I was off a wait list & accepted into his busy practice. What a breath of fresh air from my previous 30 years in traditional medical practices! I was impressed with the detail on my first annual. I had a hearing test, an EKG, a gait test, analysis of my body composition. I learned about my numbers & so much more. The results were all presented to me in a professional take-home folder with explanations! All this detail and take-home information was never provided in past traditional annual exams. This level of quality care not only educates me regarding my health, it empowers me to improve before my next annual exam.

Recently, I took a trip abroad and unfortunately came back needing medical care and breathing treatments.  When the equipment company failed to deliver what Dr. Im had ordered, I was impressed his office solved the issue by the next morning. I was in their office immediately for another treatment & on my way with the proper device. The staff was amazing co-ordinating all this..the appointment, the equipment, the treatment which the cheerful MDVip nurse delivered working on her 40th birthday!! Under Dr. Im’s guidance, his top notch staff delivers professional, competent care with a joyful attitude! They make you feel like you are part of their family!
